The Pelicans led the league with 860 runs. New Orleans allowed 671 runs. Gene Freese paced all regular batters with a .332 average. Bob Schultz topped the team with 18 wins, while Nelson King, too added 15 or more wins, too Nelson King recorded a 2.25 ERA, best among pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.
