The Nankai Hawks of the Japan Pacific League ended the 1969 season with a record of 50 wins and 76 losses, finishing sixth in the JPPL.
The Hawks tallied 409 runs, worst in the circuit, and allowed 530 runs, most in the league. Katsuya Nomura paced Nankai with 22 home runs and accounted for 52 RBI. Yoshinori Hirose topped batters with significant playing time with a .284 average. Kiyohiro Miura led the squad with 12 wins, while Sanshiro Nishioka earned a 2.44 ERA, leading pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.
