The Monterrey Sultanes of the Mexican League ended the 2013 season with a record of 62 wins and 50 losses, finishing second in the league's North Division.
The Sultanes led the circuit with just 517 runs allowed. Monterrey scored 602 runs. Luis Garcia paced the team with 22 home runs, while Edgar Quintero and Jose Alvarez walloped 15 or more, too. Jose Alvarez drove in 81 runs. Agustin Murillo topped all regular batters by connecting at a .337 clip. Jonathan Castellanos paced the squad with 10 wins, and Marco Carrillo registered a 3.78 earned run average, best among hurlers with significant time on the mound.
