The Montgomery Rebels of the Southern League ended the 1969 season with a record of 62 wins and 73 losses, finishing fifth in the SL.
The Rebels scored 504 runs and allowed 591 runs, most in the circuit. George Kalafatis led Montgomery with 21 home runs and accounted for 86 RBI. George McKenzie paced all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .275 clip. Paul Coleman and John Gregory topped the squad with 11 wins each, while John Gregory recorded a 1.89 ERA, tops among pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.
Ken Szotkiewicz, Jack Whillock, Jim Foor, Chuck Scrivener, Jake Wood, Gene Lamont and Lerrin LaGrow were all players from the 1969 Montgomery Rebels who played in the Majors during their careers.
