The Orions scored 455 runs and gave up 459 runs. Takuzo Miyake paced Mainichi with 14 home runs and drove in 63 runs, while leading all regular batters by hitting .273. Atsushi Aramaki topped the team with 17 wins and a team-best 2.14 earned run average, tops among hurlers with significant time on the mound.
Leo Kiely played in Major League Baseball during his career, the only member of the Mainichi Orions to do so.
