The Memphis Chicks of the Southern Association ended the 1952 season with a record of 81 wins and 74 losses, finishing third in the SA.

The Chicks plated 757 runs and yielded 736 runs. Dixie Upright led all qualifying hitters on the roster by hitting .318. Frank Biscan topped Memphis with 17 wins and a team-best 3.2 ERA, leading qualifying pitchers.

Mickey Rutner, Don Nicholas, Bill Higdon, Al Kozar, Tommy Fine, Bud Thomas, Ed White, Jay Porter, Sammy Meeks, Woody Rich, Dixie Upright, Tom Hurd, Frank Biscan, Dixie Howell, Jim Suchecki, Ross Grimsley and Ed McGhee were all players from the 1952 Memphis Chicks who played in the Majors during their careers.
