The Little Rock Travelers of the Southern Association ended the 1951 season with a record of 93 wins and 60 losses, finishing first in the SA.

The Travelers led the league with just 671 runs allowed. Little Rock scored 813 runs. Hal Simpson paced hitters with significant playing time with a .311 average. Al Yaylian and Dutch McCall topped the team with 16 wins each, while Dutch McCall recorded a 3.15 ERA, best among pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.

Ray Yochim, Al Flair, Harold Daugherty, Floyd Speer, Lou Lombardo, Bill Connelly, Dutch McCall and Clem Koshorek were all players from the 1951 Little Rock Travelers who played in the Majors during their careers.

Gene Desautels served as manager.
