The Lake Elsinore Storm of the California League ended the 2002 season with a record of 75 wins and 65 losses, finishing second in the league's South Division.

The Storm scored 702 runs and conceded 677 runs. Tagg Bozied led Lake Elsinore with 15 home runs Jon Knott recorded 73 runs batted in. J. J. Furmaniak paced all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .257 clip. Mike Bumstead and Mark Phillips topped the squad with 10 wins each, while Duncan McAdoo recorded a 4.02 ERA, best among regular hurlers.
