The Lexington Legends of the South Atlantic League ended the 2012 season with a record of 69 wins and 69 losses, finishing fourth in the league's Southern Division.

The Legends scored 691 runs and surrendered 664 runs. Matt Duffy led Lexington with 16 home runs, while Mike Kvasnicka, Brandon Meredith and Zach Johnson each walloped 15 or more as well. Zach Johnson drove in 108 runs. Delino DeShields paced hitters with significant playing time by connecting at a .298 clip. Mike Foltynewicz topped the team with 14 wins and a team-best 3.14 earned run average, best among pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.
