The Kokutetsu Swallows of the Japan Central League ended the 1952 season with a record of 50 wins and 70 losses, finishing fifth in the JPCL.
The Swallows scored 410 runs and yielded 526 runs. Kiyoshi Sugiura led Kokutetsu with 25 home runs and accounted for 63 RBI. Ryohei Moriya paced batters with significant playing time by connecting at a .288 clip. Masaichi Kaneda earned 24 wins on the mound for the team, while Norio Furuya recorded a 3.02 ERA, best among regular hurlers. Norio Nishigaki served as manager.
