The Kokutetsu Swallows of the Japan Central League ended the 1950 season with a record of 42 wins and 94 losses, finishing seventh in the JPCL.
The Swallows scored 480 runs, worst in the league, and allowed 790 runs. Ryohei Moriya led Kokutetsu with 21 home runs Soichi Fujita drove in 64 runs and topped all regular batters by connecting at a .288 clip. Mototoshi Tahara paced the squad with 13 wins, while Masaichi Kaneda registered a 3.95 earned run average, best among pitchers with enough qualifying appearances. Norio Nishigaki served as manager.
