The Kannapolis Intimidators of the South Atlantic League ended the 2011 season with a record of 76 wins and 62 losses, finishing third in the league's Northern Division.

The Intimidators plated 697 runs and conceded 598 runs. Trayce Thompson paced Kannapolis with 24 home runs, while Dan Black walloped 15 or more as well. Dan Black recorded 98 runs batted in. Brady Shoemaker topped batters with significant playing time with a .319 average. Spencer Arroyo and Matt Heidenreich led the squad with 10 wins each, and Spencer Arroyo registered a 3.7 earned run average, leading regular hurlers.

Marcus Semien, Chris Bassitt, Wes Whisler, Miguel González, Yolmer Sánchez, Rangel Ravelo, Addison Reed, Trayce Thompson and Jake Petricka were all players from the 2011 Kannapolis Intimidators who played in the Major Leagues during their careers.
