The Suns led the league with just 484 runs allowed. Jacksonville scored 562 runs. Frank Ortenzio paced the squad with 19 home runs, and Al Cowens walloped 15 or more as well. Al Cowens recorded 81 runs batted in and topped all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .289 clip. Randy Hammon and Ed Assaf paced the squad with 11 wins each, while Randy Hammon recorded a 2.15 ERA, best among regular hurlers.
