The Inland Empire 66ers of the California League ended the 2003 season with a record of 78 wins and 62 losses, finishing first in the league's South Division.

The 66ers topped the league with just 583 runs allowed. Inland Empire scored 700 runs. Hunter Brown led the team with 15 home runs John Castellano accounted for 80 RBI and topped all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .306 clip. Ryan Ketchner paced the squad with 14 wins, while Glenn Bott recorded a 3.17 ERA, best among regular hurlers.

Matt Thornton, Ryan Rowland-Smith, Troy Cate, Shin-Soo Choo, Emiliano Fruto, Jeff Cirillo, Cha-Seung Baek and Kazuhiro Sasaki were all players from the 2003 Inland Empire 66ers who played in the Majors during their careers.
