Jitsuo Mizutani paced all regular hitters by connecting at a .337 clip. Manabu Kitabeppu topped the team with 16 wins, and Yutaka Ono recorded a 2.68 ERA, tops among regular hurlers.

Jim Lyttle and Art Gardner both played in Major League Baseball during their careers.
