The Hickory Crawdads of the South Atlantic League ended the 2013 season with a record of 76 wins and 63 losses, finishing third in the league's Northern Division.
The Crawdads scored 643 runs and yielded 605 runs. Joey Gallo walloped 38 home runs for Hickory, while Nick Williams, Lewis Brinson, Jorge Alfaro and Ryan Rua each added 15 or more also. Ryan Rua recorded 82 runs batted in. Nick Williams led all qualifying hitters on the roster by hitting .293. Connor Sadzeck topped the squad with 12 wins and a team-best 2.25 earned run average, best among pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.
