The Hickory Crawdads of the South Atlantic League ended the 2004 season with a record of 85 wins and 55 losses, finishing first in the league's North Division.
The Crawdads plated 758 runs and gave up 659 runs. Jon Benick walloped 32 home runs for Hickory, while Bobby Kingsbury and Adam Boeve swatted 15 or more, too. Jon Benick drove in 104 runs and topped hitters with significant playing time by hitting .328.
