1982 Hankyu Braves Statistics

The Hankyu Braves of the Japan Pacific League ended the 1982 season with a record of 62 wins and 60 losses, finishing fourth in the JPPL.

The Braves topped the league with 596 runs, powered by 150 home runs. Hankyu allowed 522 runs. Wayne Cage walloped 31 home runs for the squad, while Hideji Kato, Yutaka Fukumoto, Robert Marcano and Koji Minoda each swatted 15 or more, too. Hideji Kato drove in 84 runs. Yutaka Fukumoto paced all qualifying hitters on the roster with a .303 average. Hisashi Yamada led the team with 16 wins, and Hiroaki Nagamoto added 15 or more victories also Hisashi Yamada registered a 3.1 earned run average, tops among pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.

Wayne Cage played in Major League Baseball during his career, the only member of the Hankyu Braves to do so.

Toshiharu Ueda served as manager.
