Atsushi Nagaike walloped 41 home runs for Hankyu, while Billy Sorrell, Yutaka Ohashi, Kiyoshi Morimoto and Yasuhiro Takai each swatted 15 or more also. Atsushi Nagaike accounted for 95 RBI. Yutaka Fukumoto paced all regular batters with a .301 average.
