The Greenville Tigers of the Cotton States League ended the 1954 season with a record of 80 wins and 39 losses, finishing first in the CSL.

Harry Martin paced the team with 23 home runs, while Allie Benza and William McDowell walloped 15 or more, too. Harry Martin drove in 99 runs and topped all regular batters by connecting at a .337 clip. Jerry Dean led the squad with 15 wins and a team-best 1.8 ERA, leading qualifying pitchers.

Ken Rowe played in Major League Baseball during his career, the only member of the Greenville Tigers to do so.

Willis Hudlin served as manager.
