Nolan Ryan topped the team with 17 wins, while Gary Puttmann recorded a 2.47 ERA, best among hurlers with significant time on the mound.

Ed Figueroa, Dennis Musgraves, Don Shaw, Curtis Brown, Joe Campbell, Barry Raziano, Nolan Ryan, Bob Heise and Duffy Dyer were all players from the 1966 Greenville Mets who played in the Major Leagues during their careers.
