The Greensboro Hornets of the South Atlantic League ended the 1993 season with a record of 85 wins and 56 losses, finishing first in the league's North Division.

The Hornets topped the league with 763 runs. Greensboro surrendered 633 runs. Matt Luke and Nick Delvecchio led the team with 21 home runs apiece. Matt Luke recorded 91 runs batted in. Derek Jeter paced all regular batters by connecting at a .295 clip. Ryan Karp and Mike Buddie paced the squad with 13 wins each, while Mike Buddie recorded a 4.87 ERA, best among regular hurlers.
