The Gainesville G-Men of the Florida State League ended the 1958 season with a record of 47 wins and 92 losses, finishing seventh in the FSL.
The G-Men scored 610 runs and surrendered 854 runs, most in the circuit. Mickey Noble drove in 60 runs. Clement Pfaehler paced hitters with significant playing time by connecting at a .272 clip. William Jones topped the squad with 11 wins and a team-best 1.93 ERA, best among regular hurlers.
Johnnie Seale played in Major League Baseball during his career, the only member of the Gainesville G-Men to do so.
