The Fresno Grizzlies of the Pacific Coast League ended the 1999 season with a record of 73 wins and 69 losses, finishing second in the league's South Division of the Pacific Conference.

The Grizzlies topped the circuit with 849 runs. Fresno allowed 800 runs. Jay Canizaro paced the squad with 26 home runs, while Felipe Crespo, Damon Mashore, Jalal Leach and Calvin Murray each walloped 15 or more as well. Felipe Crespo drove in 84 runs. Calvin Murray led all regular hitters by hitting .334. Bronswell Patrick paced the team with 14 wins and a team-best 4.88 ERA, leading qualifying pitchers.
