The Sun Kings paced the league with 835 runs, sparked by 207 home runs. El Paso surrendered 853 runs, most in the circuit. Arlo Engel walloped 41 home runs for the team, while Randy Hundley, Moose Stubing, José Cardenal and Dick Dietz each swatted 15 or more as well. Arlo Engel drove in 126 runs. Dick Dietz led all regular hitters by connecting at a .354 clip. Richard Slomkowski topped the squad with 12 wins, and Luis Penalver recorded a 3.7 ERA, tops among qualifying pitchers.
