The Danville Warriors of the Midwest League ended the 1970 season with a record of 64 wins and 59 losses, finishing fourth in the MWL.

The Warriors topped the circuit with 619 runs. Danville allowed 562 runs, most in the league. Don Cunnigan and Larry Mansfield paced the squad with 11 home runs apiece. Joe Bowen recorded 83 runs batted in. Cecil Cooper led hitters with significant playing time by connecting at a .336 clip. Michael Flanagan paced the squad with 11 wins, while Jim Malone recorded a 3.2 ERA, leading pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.

Cecil Cooper played in Major League Baseball during his career, the only member of the Danville Warriors to do so.

Bob Bauer served as manager.
