The Columbus Redstixx of the South Atlantic League ended the 1992 season with a record of 77 wins and 62 losses, finishing first in the league's South Division.

The Redstixx scored 681 runs and allowed 542 runs. Rod McCall led Columbus with 20 home runs and drove in 80 runs. Willie Cañate paced batters with significant playing time by connecting at a .316 clip. Carlos Crawford topped the squad with 10 wins and a team-best 2.92 earned run average, best among qualifying pitchers.

Pete Rose, Paul Shuey, Pep Harris, Albie Lopez, Carlos Crawford, Fernando Hernández and Willie Cañate were all players from the 1992 Columbus Redstixx who played in the Majors during their careers.
