The Campeche Piratas of the Mexican League ended the 2005 season with a record of 62 wins and 43 losses, finishing second in the league's South Division.

The Piratas tallied 659 runs and conceded 577 runs. Bill Selby paced Campeche with 25 home runs, while Rubén Rivera and Flavio Romero walloped 15 or more, too. Bill Selby drove in 93 runs. Roberto Vizcarra topped all regular hitters by hitting .347. Francisco Campos led the squad with 11 wins and a team-best 2.84 earned run average, leading hurlers with significant time on the mound.
