The Chunichi Dragons of the Japan Central League ended the 2007 season with a record of 78 wins and 64 losses, finishing second in the JPCL.

The Dragons topped the league with just 556 runs allowed. Chunichi scored 623 runs. Ty Woods walloped 35 home runs for the squad, while Norihiro Nakamura and Masahiko Morino added 15 or more also. Ty Woods recorded 102 runs batted in. Hirokazu Ibata paced hitters with significant playing time by hitting .296. Kenichi Nakata led the team with 14 wins, and Takashi Ogasawara earned a 3 ERA, best among regular hurlers.
