Genji Kaku and Kazuhiko Ushijima topped the squad with 10 wins each, and Tatsuo Komatsu registered a 3.2 earned run average, best among qualifying pitchers.

Ken Macha played in Major League Baseball during his career, the only member of the Chunichi Dragons to do so.
