The Aces scored 1261 runs, best in the league. Corpus Christi conceded 968 runs. Kenneth Peacock walloped 30 home runs for the squad, while Tony DiPrimio, Lloyd Pearson and Joe Koppe each swatted 15 or more, too. Lloyd Pearson drove in 154 runs and topped all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .383 clip. Raymond Sims paced the team with 19 wins, and Bobby Covington added 15 or more victories also Bobby Covington registered a 3.91 earned run average, best among regular hurlers.
