The Billings Mustangs of the Pioneer League ended the 2003 season with a record of 41 wins and 35 losses, finishing second in the league's North Division.

The Mustangs topped the league with just 343 runs allowed. Billings scored 451 runs. Walter Olmstead led the team with 12 home runs and accounted for 48 RBI. Luis Bolivar paced all regular hitters by connecting at a .349 clip. Jim Paduch and Justin Knoff paced the squad with 7 wins each, while Jim Paduch recorded a 1.96 ERA, best among qualifying pitchers.
