The Billings Mustangs of the Pioneer League ended the 1959 season with a record of 68 wins and 62 losses, finishing second in the PL.
The Mustangs scored 720 runs, worst in the league, and gave up 759 runs. Lamar Drummonds led Billings with 19 home runs, while John Self, Jack Damaska and Bernard Kelly each walloped 15 or more, too. Lamar Drummonds accounted for 95 RBI. John Roth topped all regular batters by connecting at a .341 clip. Charles Harris and Bruce Haroldson paced the squad with 12 wins each, and Charles Harris registered a 3.13 earned run average, best among regular hurlers.
