The Bridgeport Bluefish of the Atlantic League ended the 2004 season with a record of 72 wins and 54 losses, finishing first in the league's Northern Division.

The Bluefish tallied 649 runs and surrendered 603 runs. Jose Amado paced Bridgeport with 13 home runs and drove in 93 runs, while leading hitters with significant playing time by connecting at a .339 clip. Tim Cain and Kevin Henthorne topped the squad with 12 wins each, and Kevin Henthorne registered a 2.7 earned run average, leading regularly-used pitchers.

Keith Luuloa, Oreste Marrero, Brad Cornett, T. J. Mathews, Mel Rojas, Willis Otáñez and Will Pennyfeather were all players from the 2004 Bridgeport Bluefish who played in the Majors during their careers.

José Lind served as manager.
