The Asheville Tourists of the South Atlantic League ended the 2009 season with a record of 68 wins and 70 losses, finishing fourth in the league's Southern Division.
The Tourists scored 633 runs and conceded 627 runs. Kiel Roling led Asheville with 20 home runs, while David Christensen walloped 15 or more also. Jordan Pacheco accounted for 79 RBI and topped all regular hitters by connecting at a .322 clip. Parker Frazier paced the squad with 10 wins, and Juan Nicasio recorded a 2.41 ERA, best among qualifying pitchers.
