The Asheville Tourists of the South Atlantic League ended the 2004 season with a record of 64 wins and 75 losses, finishing sixth in the league's South Division.
The Tourists plated 738 runs and allowed 740 runs. Ian Stewart walloped 30 home runs for Asheville, while Jordan Czarniecki and Joe Gaetti swatted 15 or more, too. Ian Stewart drove in 101 runs and topped all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .319 clip.
