The Asheville Tourists of the South Atlantic League ended the 1994 season with a record of 60 wins and 73 losses, finishing seventh in the league's North Division.

The Tourists plated 546 runs and conceded 707 runs, most in the circuit. Nate Holdren paced Asheville with 28 home runs, and Jason Smith walloped 15 or more, too. Nate Holdren drove in 74 runs. Pete Carranza led hitters with significant playing time by connecting at a .282 clip. Keith Barnes topped the team with 8 wins and a team-best 5.36 ERA, tops among qualifying pitchers.
