The Atlantic City Surf of the Atlantic League ended the 2004 season with a record of 71 wins and 54 losses, finishing second in the league's Southern Division.

The Surf plated 697 runs and allowed 612 runs. Dario Delgado paced Atlantic City with 24 home runs, while Wilfredo Quintana, Ryan Minor, Ozzie Timmons and Raul Marval each walloped 15 or more, too. Dario Delgado drove in 83 runs and topped batters with significant playing time by connecting at a .313 clip. Damon Ponce Deleon led the squad with 12 wins, and Andy Zwirchitz registered a 4.15 earned run average, leading qualifying pitchers.
