The Amarillo Sod Poodles of the Texas League ended the 2023 season with a record of 77 wins and 61 losses, finishing first in the league's South Division.

The Sod Poodles topped the league with 823 runs, fueled by 193 home runs. Amarillo surrendered 803 runs, most in the circuit. A. J. Vukovich led the squad with 24 home runs, while Jordan Lawlar, Neyfy Castillo, Deyvison De Los Santos, Tim Tawa and Caleb Roberts each walloped 15 or more, too. A. J. Vukovich accounted for 96 RBI and topped all regular hitters with a .263 average. Luke Albright paced the team with 8 wins, and Jamison Hill recorded a 4.35 ERA, best among hurlers with significant time on the mound.
