The Alamance Indians of the Carolina League ended the 1960 season with a record of 67 wins and 73 losses, finishing fourth in the CL.
The Indians plated 657 runs and gave up 749 runs, most in the league. Mitchell June paced Alamance with 24 home runs, while Jerome Webb and Wayne Newberry walloped 15 or more, too. Mitchell June drove in 90 runs and topped all regular batters by hitting .321. Thomas Trammel led the squad with 13 wins, and Tom Gansauer and Frank Slusser recorded a 3.67 ERA, leading pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.
