The Canucks scored 303 goals and gave up 309. Darcy Rota netted 42 goals for Vancouver, while Thomas Gradin and Stan Smyl tallied 30 or more also. Thomas Gradin contributed 54 assists. Richard Brodeur topped the squad with 21 wins and a team-best 3.79 goals against average, pacing regular goalies.

Roger Neilson coached the team. The 1982-83 Vancouver Canucks lost in the NHL division semi-finals.
