The Canadiens paced the circuit with 328 goals. Montreal allowed 240 goals. Guy Lafleur and Pierre Larouche scored 50 goals for the squad each, while Pierre Mondou and Steve Shutt netted 30 or more as well. Guy Lafleur contributed 75 assists. Denis Herron earned 25 wins in front of the net for the team, and Michel Larocque added 15 or more victories also. Denis Herron recorded a 2.51 goals against average, topping regular goalies.
