The Houston Aeros of the World Hockey Association ended the 1974-75 season with a record of 53 wins and 25 losses for 106 points, finishing first in the WHA's WHA West Division. The team compiled a postseason mark of 12-1.

The Aeros netted 369 goals, tops in the circuit. Houston conceded 247 goals, the lowest total in the circuit. Frank Hughes scored 48 goals for the team, while Larry Lund, Andre Hinse, Gordie Howe and Mark Howe each tallied 30 or more, too. Larry Lund contributed 75 assists. Ron Grahame earned 33 wins for the squad, and Wayne Rutledge added 15 or more wins also. Ron Grahame recorded a 3.03 goals against average, leading qualifying goaltenders.

Bill Dineen coached the team. The 1974-75 Houston Aeros won the AVCO Cup.
