The Blues led the circuit with just 157 goals allowed. St. Louis scored 204 goals. Red Berenson netted 35 goals for the team and contributed 47 assists. Glenn Hall topped the squad with 19 wins, while Jacques Plante added 15 or more wins also. Jacques Plante registered a 1.96 goals against average, leading qualifying goaltenders.
Scotty Bowman coached the team. The 1968-69 St. Louis Blues lost in the Stanley Cup finals.
