The Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League ended the 1990-91 season with a record of 46 wins and 24 losses and 10 ties for 102 points, finishing first in the NHL's Smythe Division. The team compiled a postseason mark of 6-6.
The Kings scored 340 goals and surrendered 254. Tomas Sandstrom and Luc Robitaille netted 45 goals for Los Angeles each, while Wayne Gretzky and Tony Granato tallied 30 or more, too. Wayne Gretzky contributed 122 assists. Kelly Hrudey earned 26 wins in front of the net for the squad, and Daniel Berthiaume added 15 or more victories also. Kelly Hrudey recorded a 2.90 goals against average, topping goaltenders with enough qualifying appearances.
