The D.C. Defenders of the XFL ended the 2023 season with a record of 9 wins and 1 losses, finishing first in the XFL's North Division.
Offensively, D.C. paced the circuit with 298 points. At the same time, the defense allowed 240 points. Jordan Ta'amu passed for 1,894 yards. Lucky Jackson hauled in 36 passes, while Chris Blair accumulated 594 receiving yards, while Josh Hammond was targeted regularly, too.
Abram Smith ran for a team-best 778 yards for the Defenders.
Michael Joseph intercepted 4 errant tosses from the opposition. Davin Bellamy topped the defensive unit with 5.5 sacks, topping a defense credited with 26 sacks.
Reggie Barlow coached the team. The 2023 D.C. Defenders lost in the Championship.
