The London Monarchs of the World League of American Football ended the 1996 season with a record of 4 wins and 6 losses, finishing fifth in the WLAF.

The Monarchs managed just 161 points, worst in the league, and the defensive squad allowed 192. Preston Jones threw for 1,649 yards. Michael Titley paced pass catchers, hauling in 29 passes, while Edwin Howard accumulated 364 receiving yards. Larry Wallace, Willie Hinchcliff and Russell White each contributed to the receiving game, too.

Tony Vinson ran for a team-best 516 yards for London.

Darren Studstill and Kenny McEntyre each intercepted 5 errant tosses from the opposition. Jerry Drake sacked opposing passers 8 times, helping propel the defense to an overall total of 28 sacks.

Bobby Hammond and Lionel Taylor coached the team.
