Charley Taylor paced all receivers, grabbing 54 passes for 738 yards, while Roy Jefferson and Jerry Smith were targeted regularly as well.

Larry Brown carried the pigskin for a team-best 430 yards for the Redskins, while Moses Denson and Duane Thomas additionally buoyed the ground attack.

The ball-hawking defense led the way with 40 turnovers. Ken Stone seized 5 opponent throws.
