The defense proved to be a force, as the 49ers led the circuit with just 277 points allowed. San Francisco lit up the scoreboard for 450 points. Jimmy Garoppolo threw for 2,437 yards, and Brock Purdy played quarterback, too. Brandon Aiyuk topped the receiving corps, grabbing 78 passes for 1,015 yards. George Kittle was targeted regularly also.
Christian McCaffrey carried the ball for a team-leading 746 yards.
Tashaun Gipson intercepted 5 opponent throws. Nick Bosa paced the defensive unit with 18.5 quarterback sacks, part of an overall team total of 44 sacks.
