The Berlin Thunder of National Football League Europe ended the 2005 season with a record of 7 wins and 3 losses, finishing first in NFLE.
The defense proved to be a force, as the Thunder led the league with just 191 points allowed. Berlin scored 241 points. Dave Ragone threw for 1,746 yards. Aaron Boone paced pass catchers, hauling in 43 passes for 582 yards. Michael Jennings was targeted regularly also.
Cal Murray ran for a team-best 487 yards, and Little John Flowers additionally aided the ground game.
Jermaine Mays and Willie Ford each seized 4 opponent throws. Isaac Hilton topped the defensive unit with 5 sacks.
Rick Lantz coached the team. The 2005 Berlin Thunder lost in the Championship.
